Commercial Bank of Dubai identified a retail network strategy as an essential component in creating an omni-channel distribution network through the convergence of physical and digital technologies.
The strategy was a first step in creating an “anything, anytime, anywhere” banking offer through enhanced ATM technologies and overt promotion of digital channels, supported by an optimised retail banking footprint.
The strategy addressed the differing demographic character of the UAE whilst targeting priority customer segments of business and high net worth nationals. The strategy is now being implemented across the UAE to create a re-aligned retail network, with new branch formats including the first ‘digital kiosk’ prototype, designed by FDP.
