As part of a wider retail banking repositioning FDP assisted ABank in the transformation from a conventional retail bank, with a retail transactional focus, serving all customer segments to a business focused bank with a relationship focus.
The re-positioning to a ‘challenger bank’ necessitated the development of a robust and comprehensive reassessment of the banks’ physical representation across Turkey in order to re-align the branch network in order to reflect the new business objectives and proposition. The development of the retail network strategy demanded extensive research into the economic and demographic character of Turkey, together with a detailed assessment of each existing branch location.
Through a combination of addressing the existing network and a combination of new locations the network is being re-aligned to more overtly promote the position of ABank as a business specialist bank and the range of digital channels in which to interact and undertake business with the bank.
