Commercial Bank of Dubai’s (CBD) digital kiosk, designed by FDP financial retail environments, was awarded the ‘Best Kiosk Interface’ in the UAE at the Banker Middle East Awards 2015. Held on April 7 the annual awards ceremony celebrates the region’s best banking products and services, and is widely respected by the banking industry.
Working together with branding and digital design agency Industry, local developer Prototype and the Commercial Bank of Dubai team, FDP developed the digital strategy, interior design concept, bespoke furniture and applications to support CBD’s award winning new retail offer.
Peter O’Malley, Director of FDP said: “CBD’s new technology driven retail space incorporates touch screen tables, tablets and interactive video walls to create a striking and immersive brand experience. The digital branch will reach out to the next generation of customers who are beginning their ‘digital journey’, utilising the bank’s digital channels to create a connected and informal banking experience.”
At the Banker Middle East Awards the CBD also received the ‘Best New Online Service’ award for its unique Facebook branch and ‘Best Online Banking Services’ award for its Online Banking portal.
